EXECUTIVE CHEF WAYDE SWEETING PREPARES

No matter who wins the Super Bowl in 2008, Bimini Bay Resort will make sure guests have the best game-watching experience. Super Bowl may be a few months away but there is no better time than now to plan for The Bimini Bay/Super Bowl Extravaganza. From February 1-3, guests are invited to spend the weekend at Bimini Bay Resort.

The weekend will feature a Super Bowl party for the big day with cuisine meticulously crafted by the resort’s head Chef Wayde Sweeting who currently serves as the President of the Bahamas Culinary Association. The menu will feature an array of items including Kalik Beer Battered Vegetables and blue cheese dip, fresh seasonal cut and whole fruits, a cold bar with shrimp cocktail, snow crab claws and more, Super Bowl favoriteslike jumbo beef hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken wings, and desserts like mini Coconut cheese cakes, a Bahamian favorite Guava Duff with rum sauce and much more.

While at Bimini Bay Resort, guests can also take advantage of massages by the pool, unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean while lounging at the resort’s infinity-edge pool, gourmet meals at the resort’s signature restaurant Casa Lyon and a full-service marina with onsite customs and immigration. Other activities on the island include fishing, snorkeling, island tours and more
